Let us go through some facts which we didn't know about the Disney classic yet.
Aladdin was an attempt to recreate Hirschfeld's art from of clean cut lines by Eric Goldberg.
Michael J. Fox was first considered for the role, however the character's movements and look were mirrored after Tom Cruise, who seemed to be a better fit.
It has been noticed that whenever Aladdin lied, his feather on the hat fell forward.
Linda Larkin gave the voice over for Princess Jasmine, but she never sang a note for the princess' voice. The singer was Lea Salonga.

For the voice of Genie, John Candy, Steve Martin, Eddie Murphy, Martin Short, John Goodman, and Albert Brooks all were considered.
Genie's lines were recorded in 20 different ways. As Williams was available for recording session, he used to have rapid-fire rounds of his lines, in as many different styles he could create.
In the original draft, there were two genies. One was the lamp Genie and the other was a ring Genie.
The first choice for Iago's voice was not Gilbert Gottfried. The role of sarcastic evil parrot was given to Danny DeVito and Joe Pesci, but when both rejected it was passed to Gilbert Gotfried.
Chattering sounds of Abu was given by the voice artist Frank Welker. He has also given his voice to Scooby-Doo.
The song 'Arabian Nights' lyrics were changed. This song features Peddler describing Arabia.
In the original script, Aladdin had a mother in the film for whom he sings a song "Proud of Your Boy" but later the song and the scene both were cut from the film.
At the preview screening, no one clapped after the songs so the animators added an "Applause" sign in the end.
The character design for Jafar was inspired and based on the character of the Maleficient.
In the time before digital animation, illustrators tried to make the character's face, bodies and movements as realistic as possible.
There was a rumor that when Aladdin comes to Jasmine's balcony he undress himself, he says, "Take off your clothes." Later it was changed as "Down, kitty".
When Raja turns himself to a person from kitten, for split second Raja's head turns into Mickey Mouse.
