Stardom is not always a bed of roses. Celebrities often put their life at risk to perform in movies. We have heard about bitterish incidents that happened during the movie shootings and those occurrences include some painful and tragic deaths of Hollywood superstars. These celebrities who were busy in their tasks met a gruesome end.
Fast & Furious fame Hollywood star Paul died in a terrible and unfortunate car crash on 30th November 2013 in Los Angeles. While returning from a charity event, Paul's car met a fatal collision that was at the speed of more than 100 mph. Fast & Furious 7 was his last movie that got released one year and five months after his death. His brother completed the role of Paul and movie pays a tribute to the amazing star.
Australian actor Heath died untimely when he was just 28. He was found dead in his room in Manhattan on 22nd January 2008 due to drug overdose. He completed the work for ''The Dark Knight'' and was busy in the production of ''The Imagination of Doctor Parnassus''. His demise affected the marketing campaign of ''The Dark Knight'' and the production of ''The Imagination of Doctor Parnassus''.
Brandon was an American actor and was the son of legend Bruce Lee. Brandon died after an accidental shooting in Wilmington studio while filming the scene of ''The Crow'' on 31st March, 1993. For the scene, Lee had to walk to his apartment where few looters were supposed to captivate and misbehave with his fiancee. When Lee entered the room, the thugs fired over him. Dummy firing was arranged while filming, but by mistake the real bullets got fired. Accidentally a bullet hit the abdomen of Brandon. He was rushed to the hospital but tragically he passed away. After Lee's death, a stuntman was taken at his place to complete the shoot.
Like his son, Hong Kong American martial artist Bruce Lee also encountered death while he was working for a movie. Lee was busy in filming ''Enter the Dragon''. On 10th May 1973, when the dubbing session was on at Golden Harvest Studio in Hong Kong, Lee slipped in the bathroom. Suddenly, he was taken to the hospital where doctors announced him dead. Doctors said that Lee had cerebral edema, but several controversies were created about his death.
Jon was an American actor who died young in an accidental shooting on the sets of CBS television series ''Cover Up''. On 12th October 1984, the crew members were busy in filming the seventh episode. They were tackling certain problems on the set due to which there was a delay in shooting. After waiting for a long time, irritated Hexum went for a nap. After waking up, he found that the people on the sets were still dealing with some problems. He joked around with a gun on the sets and accidentally fired it.
On 23 July 1982, Vic and the crew members were busy in filming ''Twilight Zone'' in California. Vic and other two child artists were recording the scene where they had to escape from the village. As per the scene, the helicopter was 24 feet above them. While filming the scene, accidentally the helicopter crashed with an explosion and three of them died on the spot.
Ronald was a Hollywood photographer who died while shooting ''The Final Season'' in October 2007. Ronald and the team were in a helicopter for some aerial scenes. Unfortunately, their helicopter crashed near Walford leaving him dead and other members injured.
Arthur was an American aerial cameraman and a pilot. While shooting for the ''Top Gun'', his aircraft failed and fell into the Pacific Ocean. The saddest part of this incident was that neither the craft nor his body was found. The actual cause of aircraft fail still remains a mystery.
Roy was a British actor who was well known for his influential appearances in comedy shows. On 19th September 1988, during the filming of ''The Return of the Musketeers'' in Spain, Roy fell from a horse. He was taken to the hospital where he was found having severely broken pelvis. The following day in the hospital, Roy died from a heart attack.
Ritter was an American actor and comedian. On 11th September 2003, while he was rehearsing for a show he experienced chest pain and vomiting. He was taken to the hospital where doctors misdiagnosed him and treated him for a heart attack. He was then diagnosed with aortic dissection for which he underwent a surgery. Sadly Ritter died while getting operated.
Albert Paul Mantz was a popular stunt pilot in Hollywood. During the shooting of The Flight of the Phoenix on 8 July 1965, Albert's aircraft collided with a hillock. His aircraft started malfunctioning and he tried his best to handle the situation, but it fell on the ground and broke into pieces. The accident left Albert dead and two other people injured.
Stuntman Connor was Vin Diesel's stunt double in xXx. He died all of a sudden during the aerial stunts on 4th April 2002. While performing the stunts he collided with the bridge and died on the spot. His death moments were captured on camera and the director decided to use the real footage in the movie.
On 29 November 1923, during the shooting of The Warrens of Virginia in Texas, Martha's civil war costume caught fire. She was rushed to the hospital, but sadly even the doctors could not save her from the injuries of the burns. Martha died at the young age of 24.
