"Where will I go?"
This was the only question in her mind when she was abandoned from her house. But she is woman who went through hard struggles to become independent and happy. This is a story of a woman who lost her husband and home but never lost hope.
We are talking about Nidhi Dubey, a house wife from MP, who strived to become something which was never possible without hope. Nidhi Dubey became a widow at the age of 22 as her husband who was in the army died of cardiac arrest.
But as things became worse, Nidhi became stronger. Her in-laws only took two days to abandon her. She was four months pregnant then and had no place to stay. It doesn't take a minute to quit, but it takes years to struggle. And what she chose was incredibly amazing.
Nidhi Dubey lost her husband in 2009, and her in-laws threw her out of her home, which pushed her to a state of depression.
Soon, she moved back to her mom's house and planned to start a new life with her baby. She wanted to become an ideal mother for her son, which inspired her to a whole new level.
She moved to Indore where she completed her MBA. This helped her to get a good job in a company.
She worked for a year or so in the same company. And then came the turning point. The senior army officer who knew her husband felt bad for Nidhi and motivated her to try her luck in the SSB (Services Selection Board).
She said the training she underwent wasn't easy. This included running for 5 kilometres every morning. She used to wake up at 5 am for the workout.
In the daytime Nidhi used to teach at Army school, and at night she focused on her studies.
She passed the exam successfully and became a lieutenant in the Indian Army.
The country is proud of her brave act and respects her for being a great example to every woman. "Look at Nidhi, she's an officer now. For us, nothing can be more inspiring," her brother said with pride.
You go, girl!!
