"Haan, lekin jismon me ulajhane se pehle tum uski zulfon me ulajhna chahte ho... to shayad yeh mohabbat hai..."
Definition of love is expressed by everyone in their own peculiar ways. But this guy from Mumbai defined love in such a way that it got filed in the souls of many people. Just like how politely he recites his poetry, in the same demeanour, he endures his personality.
Yahya Bootwala's poetry, 'Shayad Wo Pyaar Nahi' got pretty viral on the internet and was among the most trending ones on social media. In the same synopsis, one of my colleagues Arhma got the opportunity to speak with him, she tried to learn his story in his own words.
Well, calling this conversation an interview won't do justice to it. Because it was more like talking to an old friend after a long time and listening to him sharing his journeys. The best part was that he wholeheartedly shared his story with WittyFeed.

It's obvious that after listening "Shayad Wo Pyaar Nahi", you must have wondered the inspiration behind it. Who is she? In the conversation, we slipped the question about his lady love and the person behind his poetry.
Before the answer, it was a lot of giggling by his side. Yahya said, "Haan! Ek ladki thi jiske sath tha. Kaafi pagli aur jhalli thi jo kuch aur nahi to muskurahat ki vajah zarur thi."
On this, Yahya shared that he always wanted to become an actor and it is his major aim. He also said that he has a passion for writing. "I have developed a deeper connection with words."
Recalling the old moments, Yahya said, "Maine college me bohot se play direct kare hain, bohot si script likhi hain. Magar kai baar esa bhi hua hai ki aakhir me mujhe replace kar diya gaya. Maine bohot rejections dekhe hain. Dil me jo chiz tod fod macha deti hai, use sabse behtar tareeke se kaagaz par ukera jaa sakta hai. Bas mene bhi yahi kia."
"Shayad Wo Pyaar Nahi' jis tarah logon ne pasand kia hai use dekh kar ye yakeen kar pana mushkil hai ki log iss zamane me bhi mohabbat me yakeen rakhte hai. Logon ki mohbbat ka shukraguzar hun. Har jagah logon ne mujhe behad pyaar diya. Mere bas me agar hota to main ek ek ka shukriya ada karta."
Yahya told that he is from science stream and has scored good marks in CET examinations as well. After this, one must do engineering, but he chose Mass Media. "That was not a challenge but ya a tough decision."
He laughed again but this course was because of the result of joy he feels. Yahya said, "Yaar, jitni pehchaan aur izzat mil rahi hai, vo sab kuch aap logo ki vajah se hai. Main sach me behaddh shukraguzar hun is mohabbat ka."
I hope you liked the story. Please do share it and let others also appreciate Yahya.
