It feels great when you shout out bigger names like 'feminism', 'gender equality', 'women rights' and so on in the series. But, have you ever thought if we really know their meanings? Or do we really know how all this applies in practical world? Some women do while some don't.
Now, most of you would misunderstand me that I'm gonna discuss here some story on women hatred. No! I'm not for your very kind information. You know what? I'm gonna tell you something that made my blood boil and made me scratch my nails on the wall. Feeling pathetic? Yes, that's how I felt while I came across this case. I mean, I saw this happening many times in front of my eyes but never gave it a thought.
In fact, I'd like to thank this man who brought this issue before all of us. It's not always about hating men or women, it's about noticing wrong things that happen near us irrespective of the gender. Let's see what you and I missed, but this man has caught his eyes upon.
If I go by the literal meaning of this term, Feminism is a range of political movements, ideologies, and social movements that share a common goal: to define, establish and achieve political, economic, personal, and social rights for women. This includes seeking to establish educational and professional opportunities for women that are equal to such opportunities for men. And in its definition, it is by no means connected to stealing others' right.
Whenever we travel, or we come across some places where the authority already allocates a particular area to specific people, then why does it always go in vain? For example, in a train or a bus when a seat is allotted for a particular section of the society like senior citizen or a handicapped, it sometimes is taken by the women in the name of 'women rights'. Why?
Yes, this may be true. Well, I've seen some step-moms who don't really know how to treat their kids. Some have this habit of taking away their children's right. Notice that I'm talking about only a few women. Not all women are same.
It is sometimes observed that many women tend to take away the rights of senior citizens. I'm not saying that all women do like that, but some don't have enough courtesy to understand the term 'feminism'. It never demands you to steal others' right.
Can you see what this picture is trying to convey? A woman has taken a seat, and an amputee or a physically disabled person is sitting on the ground.
Rakesh saw something weird in the train and not only did he noticed things around him but he also gave a thought to it.
