Yesterday night while I was busy checking some good posts, I came across a very good one, which forced me to pen down this article. And also made me explore the unexplored logics. While I was going through the post of Mr Pankaj Vijayvargiya, who took to the FB to write what he feels about the trend of misspelt titles in the Hindi TV industry.
We being a loyal audience of India's entertainment industry, we usually accept and embrace whatever is shown on-screen. We do not just watch it for entertainment, but also get attached to many of the daily soaps and its cast. But when we come across many such unusual things on-screen, we surely have the rights to know the reasons behind it.
Ergo like Mr Pankaj who raised a very logical question on a social media platform, in the hope to get answered, you too look forward to the reason behind these errors, which are committed deliberately by the makers of the shows.
So today along with the reason behind deliberate misspelling in the titles, we will take a look at 14 such super popular TV shows, which broke all the records but didn't even have error-free titles.
When I was in primary school rather when we all were in primary school, the spelling of the word 'BIG' which was taught to us carried just one 'G'. But seems like the makers of the leading reality show Bigg Boss, weren't taught how to spell Big correctly and I think that's the reason why this popular show with a million following, has an error in its title.
I wish I could tell them that: It isn't BIGG, it's BIG!! *Wink*
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is undoubtedly one of the most loved shows of Indian TV. Be it the hilarious content or the brilliant cast of the show, it has always lived up to the expectation of the audience.
There's just one thing about the show which disappoints (not literally) its followers, is the error in its title. Do I need to mention the error, I am talking about? *Ting*
I am pretty sure that you know what's wrong in this amazingly comic daily soap. Bhabi ji or Bhabhi ji? Ahem Ahem, Sahi Pakde Hain!
Like really? How can we go Krazzy, when we are taught to go crazy? Hmmmmm!
Why to buy two soaps, when you can manage in 1! This is what we think while buyig the grocery for the month. Isn't it? Similarly why to use 2 Ks when Kkusum can be easily spelled with just one. *Ting*
When I first saw the trailer of this show which is aired on &TV. You know what's the first thing I did after it.Yup, you got that right! I googled Ganga river and guess what I found.
It's Ganga, not Gangaa! Uff!
I wish I could go and ask Ekta Kapoor about her feelings behind the title of KASAUTII ZINDAGII KAY!
I know that many Dill Mill Gayye in this show. But looking at the title, it seems like show ke makers ko
L & Y zyada mil gaye (seems like the makers of the show got an extra L & Y). Isiliye DILL MILL GAYYE.
Now what to say! This was again Ekta Kapoor's show! Samajhdar ko ishara hi kaafi hai, *Wink*
Seems like they love the letter 'I'. What do you think?
I am sure they loved the letter 'S'.
Better not to comment, coz this was the Ekta Kapoor's show.
I want to know about the dictionary Karan Johar referred before he named his show Koffee with Karan!
So after taking a look at all such TV shows which had super popular titles with super silly errors, we know you are waiting for us to mention the reason behind this deliberate move. Here we go...
It is said that the members of the entertainment industry which include producers, directors and leading actors too, highly believe in astrology. Therefore, before launching any show, its makers consult an astrologer to know if the title will prove to be lucky for the show or not.
And this is how the titles with extra A, I or any other alphabet are framed.
I am sure this must have helped you to know the reason behind misspelled titles. *Ting* Do post your comments below.
