A dream of a "flower house" dragged her here. She is on her way of turning an old, abandoned house into a flower paradise.
Lisa Waud, a florist, is on a fascinating project of filling 15 rooms of an abandoned Detroit house with up to 100,000 flowers until October 2015. To serve her dream, she bought two abandoned properties for $500 in 2014. These are the pictures from a preview event held few days back where she decorated one of the houses with 4000 flowers in just 48 hours.
It is really appreciable how Lisa thought of creating a flower paradise in this house.
These pictures are taken by photographer Heather Saunders.
Lisa owns a floral design business called Pot & Box.
What a beauty! This unique house will be open to public for few days during October.
