Make books your best friend and they will take you on an adventure every day.

Some of the artists went a bit beyond reading them and used their creative minds to transform old huge books into some of the finest pieces of art. These art forms are called book sculptures, and you can use them to beautify any corner of your house.

Nicholas Jones from Melbourne is one of the most famous book sculptors in the world. He did his Masters of Fine Arts from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and his works have been exhibited in various international art exhibitions. His book Art made from books incredibly portrays the beauty of book sculptures. Another famous name in this field is of Brian Dettmar, he is a New York based artist and uses knives, scalpels and many other surgical tools to carve out amazing book sculptures. Although, this creative work of art ends up destroying some big books, the way the art form comes out kind of makes it up for the destruction.
