Who on earth has no desire to excel in their careers to earn money while keep pursuing their hobbies? I guess the number would be very less. Almost each one of us wants to have a firm career in management, law, medical or so and thereby have the time to work on our dreams. Yet, only a few have the capability to maintain such a brim balance.
And that too if pursued by an Indian lady, seems like one in a million thing. Yes, fellas! Coming directly to the point one such lady has gotta give us all kick-ass career goals. If you think you can't manage your job and studies together, think again! That may be just an excuse because this girl will prove you wrong.
If you still think being overloaded with work, you can't pursue your dreams or hobbies I would suggest you look back at your words because if she can do it, anyone can do it. She is a 20-year-old beauty pageant winner who worked for her career to get into an IIM and achieved it like a pro. So, let's take an insight into her life and secrets that she revealed herself.
She has recently joined the Indian Institute of Managment (IIM) Ahmedabad, a pioneer in management studies. She is also the winner of the Miss India Elite 2016 and is set to represent the country soon on an international platform.
Choudhary participated in extra curricular and yet managed to hold the fifth rank among students of the batch at Shri Ram College Of Commerce (SRCC). While her focus is a degree in MBA, she has become a model by fluke as per Indian Express.
"I took part in Miss India Elite just out of interest. I did not expect to win, let alone work as a model after that. Being a model has groomed me to maintain a fit and healthy lifestyle and understand that the beauty lies in the values we inculcate in our lives. The rigorous routine of maintaining a healthy body and taking part in modeling events has even pushed me to manage my time wisely" told Akanksha to Indian Express.
Akansha told Indian Express, "I aimed to study at IIM-A since I was in school. After bagging a seat at SRCC, I wasted no time and made sure to solve and practice questions on quantitative subjects. I joined coaching classes in my second year so that I could have a firm grasp of the basic concepts. Later, I participated in the test series at the coaching center and use the material provided for self-study."
Akanksha has participated in several events such as India Showcase Week and Blenders Pride where she traveled and worked with celebrities like Salman Khan and Malaika Arora. While traveling, she struck a work-life balance by studying on the move and sleeping less.
On her priorities, she said "Modeling was not always my first choice. But now I will never quit modeling because it keeps me fit but I also want to complete my educational goals."
CAT has three sections - English, quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning. For the English section, Chaudhary relied on newspapers and solved questions even while traveling. She scored 98.12 percentile in CAT 2016.
Coming September, Choudhary will be representing India in Miss Face of Beauty International Beauty Pageant to be held tentatively in New Delhi. But when asked about her preferences she said "I would choose a career in management over modeling. My dream is to become a niche consultant. So I want to learn how the entire corporate world works and climb the corporate ladder."
