Jab Harry Met Sejal, the movie which will mark Anushka's third collaboration with SRK is making us impatient for its release. The biggest reason is Shah Rukh Khan who has created history at the box office every time he turned a lover boy is coming back to being hopelessly romantic.
The film which is shot in Punjab and Europe is a romantic comedy where SRK will play the role of a tourist guide named Harinder Singh Nehra aka Harry and Anushka will be seen essaying the role of a vacationing woman named Sejal. The story revolves around the adventures of the two stars to find Sejal's engagement ring reportedly.
But while there's still more than a week for the movie to hit the screens and see the stars' intimate moments onscreen, the pictures and mini-trials are already making us fall in love with SRK all over again. And here are a few more pictures straight from the sets of JHMS giving you a glimpse of the fun behind the scenes.
Be ready to take a ride over the pictures.
The actor Shah Rukh Khan is of the opinion that love stories are created by the directors who are sensitive to women's perspective about romance.
Anushka also shared, "The first film he (Ali) offered to me, I instantly said yes to it, which is 'Jab Harry Met Sejal'. In fact, I wanted to work with Imtiaz for the longest time."
Oooo! I would surely like to be guided by such a handsome guide.
The male lead of the movie, who is collaborating with Imtiaz for the first time shared, "I haven't seen Imtiaz's films, to be honest, but when I met him, I found him extremely gentle and sensitive. Amongst the people I had worked with earlier, it was the same quality that Yash Ji, Adi, Karan (had). They are personally very different but also very sensitive."
With films like 'Jab We Met', 'Love Aaj Kal', and 'Highway', Imtiaz has proved his mantle to the extent that even SRK called him 'modern day Yash Chopra.
So, after so many failed attempts, this is the first time when Imtiaz has managed to woo SRK with his script.
The movie has already garnered a lot of attention -- all thanks to its unique promotional strategies.
It has also been promoted that the makers of the film are planning to release four more mini-trials and three songs before unveiling the trailer.
Starting the promotions, Shah Rukh Khan sent out an invitation to all the Sejals in the city Ahmedabad and subsequently, he received more than 7000 entries and it was a 'Sejalicious' day for Shah Rukh Khan.
The same incident took place when about 400 Sejals reached SRK's residence Mannat to catch a glimpse of the actor. However, they were only allowed to enter after they showed their IDs verifying their names.
With respect to the promotional strategies, SRK stated that they decided to adopt these so that the audience feel familiar with the characters Harry and Sejal by the time they go to the theatres.
Regarding the song 'Phurrr', Pritam Chakraborty portrayed his excitement saying, "Something exciting coming up for which I have been working with @iamsrk and @diplo! Can't wait to share this with you guys #Phurrr."
Shah Rukh Khan also commented that he collaborates only with those directors who bear the utmost respect for the genre.
The actor also disclosed that director Imtiaz had earlier approached Shah Rukh with the idea of a man who was 'trying to commit suicide' but SRK had dismissed it asking for a 'happier story' in replacement which gave a birth to 'Jab Harry Met Sejal'.
Although we have seen the duo's romance earlier in the movie 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' as well, it will be interesting to see how effortlessly the actors romance despite the age gap.
The film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, directed by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Gauri Khan is slated to release on August 4, 2017.
