Sunny Leone has adopted a baby girl and the world is talking about it. It's a decision that will motivate people to adopt children - because Orphan is painful word.
And how does it feel to be a mom? For now, nobody can express it better than Sunny Leone. The proud mommy has adopted Nisha Kaur Weber, a 21-month old baby girl from Latur, Maharashtra. In her own words "It was love at first sight, and nothing feels better for the time being," as she expressed her joy when interviewed by Hindustan Times.
She further said to HT: "It's been all so brand new and just a few days. The moment I got Nisha, I was so excited, happy and thrilled - all feelings packed in one. We literally had three weeks to finalize everything, usually people get nine months to prepare," she spoke while laughing out loud.
Sunny Leone and Mark Weber visited an orphanage two years ago, and that's when they decided to adopt a baby girl.
"It doesn't matter whether the baby is biological or adopted. We wanted to start a family and that's how we did," she logs out.
The first pictures of Sunny Leone with a baby girl are out on the internet and netizens have reacted in a very positive way. Read on to know how the internet has reacted to the news and what the couple thinks about their decision.
(The article was originally covered in July)
The Indian Government, together with the Cara Adoption Agency finalized the decision for the couple. Sunny Said that "It's the ministry that chooses whether you are eligible and ready for the adoption."
Sunny Leone said that she has a busy and tough schedule and a biological child would have been a difficult decision, so the adoption came as a rescue."
Sunny said that she's a Punjabi and she always wanted Kaur or Singh as her middle name and that Nisha is a sweet name and suits her well.
We all are proud of Sunny's decision and we hope everything goes perfect with her sweet little family. Now, let's have a look at the new little bundle of joy of Sunny's family.
The baby girl is indeed very cute and the family seems complete now. Whatever their profession is, everyone deserves a beautiful loving place to come home to. Some people posted nasty comments about the govt's decision to hand over the child, but I guess the government is smart and mature enough about adoption decisions.
Sunny Leone said "The day we picked her up, she was great in the car; dancing and having fun and that's what we love about her the most."
The couple looks as normal as anyone else. This is the beauty of a family.

The couple said that she's at a new place now and that surely she's going to take some time to adapt to the surroundings.
The girl child can only understand few words of Marathi. But she has just recently learned a new English word "bye, bye".
The couple said that now our whole life will revolve around the baby and that now we are going to take up projects according to the situation.
Sunny Leone further said "It's a responsibility for the rest of our lives. But we have been ready for that - physically, mentally and financially. We were working really hard because we wanted to start a family, and this is the way it's going to start, so it's amazing."
We don't do anything through the normal route or in an orthodox manner. When people ask, 'why did they adopt?' our counter is, 'oh, why not?' That's normal for us.
Past would be a problem?
"She is so cute. The moment she looks up at you and smiles, it just melts your heart. I look forward to her growing up to become an independent and being her own woman."
But what's the point here? The couple can do her whatever they want to.
Because it's a kind act. This will pave the way for others to do the same thing.
Sunny Leone is a strong woman indeed. Don't judge women by their profession. But by the kind acts they do.
Adopting a baby is a bold decision, that's no different from the kind of bold woman Sunny Leone is. She has always done something different and broken barriers - and that's what she has done again.
