Meet a Delhite, and you will realise how proud they are, of their metro. No kidding, but they will never skip a chance to flaunt about metro to anyone. It's an undeniable fact that metro rides are way better than the local trains. In the last fourteen years, metro has proved to be a feather in the cap of Delhi's local transportation. As soon as you step inside a metro, you will get to witness different people, varying from sleepyheads to music freaks, from phone peppers to pole dancers, from tensed faces to extremely happy ones.

Irfan is a resident of Delhi and is a frequent traveller of metro. He shares his beautiful experience where one fine day he boarded the train, and there was no seat and he was hoping to have one soon. He was having a major backache problem which later exacerbated.
A girl sitting nearby him noticed his suffering and asked if he was okay. He briefed about the pain and told her that his backache problem has increased. The girl did not think for a second and immediately offered him the seat and Irfan was so elated and thanked for her gesture.
Pulkit Khanna, a student, was travelling back from his class. He sat next to a guy who was reading a book. The former was continuously trying to peek into what he was reading but hard luck, he couldn't find that. When Pulkit came out of the metro, he lost his keys and was unable to find it. Guess what happened next?
He received a post with his keys in it. I hope you have guessed who sent it. Yes, it was the same guy and have a look what he wrote in the letter. Isn't it amazing? Pulkit was shocked to see it and realised the guy found his address through the number plate sticker pasted on the keys. At that moment he realised humanity is still alive.
Kartik Srivastava shares his hilarious story. He was travelling back after writing an exam and entered Seelampur Metro Station where he dumped his friend's bag into the baggage scanner machine and he was waiting for it to come out, meanwhile he went to the recharge counter to recharge his card. A loud voice strikes his ear.
A senior officer who was scanning the bag called Kartik and asked to check his bag, he was confused and replied back stating there is nothing. The officer rudely said there is a gun in the bag. Kartik was startled and thought of killing his friend. He checked the bag and found out something hysterical.
He found out a key which was in the shape of a gun. And everybody laughed.
His friend intentionally made it to look like a pistol. Kartik was really embarrassed and thought of literally killing him.
A very funny stored shared by Ruthwik Kurapati. He remembered he lost something while boarding the train and it was not his phone or wallet but he lost his slippers in there. While he was boarding the train in Rajiv Chowk, suddenly near doors he felt a strong push and someone stepped on the slippers. There was a small gap between the platform and the train and so he started searching and he found it near the door.

His luck was so bad, as soon as he tried to reach and grab it, the crowd pushed him back and just then the doors closed and there he watched his slippers fell on the track.
His friends bursted into laughter and he had to go all the way barefoot till he came out of the station and bought a new pair.
Where as Gaurav Prasade from Mumbai shares another angle of his experience who was travelling to Faridabad (Haryana) for some personal quests. While he was travelling and it was very crowded, after couple of stops a family of four boarded the metro. Elderly lady with her son, daughter in law and granddaughter. As no one was offering them place to sit so he called them and asked them take his seat.
He noticed the elderly woman and her daughter in law made in conclusion that he was trying to eye their young daughter and hence was trying to be 'too SMART and CHIVALROUS'. He immediately clarified his intent but they did not believe.
