Hailing from Bulandshahar district of Uttar Pradesh, Krishna is not a highly educated woman. Despite this, she has achieved success as an entrepreneur. She has shown the world that for achieving success in life, you need to be more confident about yourself. And that's what lacks in many of us.

Her story from being a roadside vendor who used to sell pickles earning hardly anything to becoming a successful entrepreneur and heading a business empire worth crores of rupees will give you a new vision to achieve objectives in your life.

Krishna Yadav once sold pickles on the streets of her native city Bulandshahar in UP. She along with her husband and children moved from her native district to Delhi in 1996 to boost their pickle business. Their decision to shift to Delhi bore fruits. Their  bsiness picked up, finally.

There was a time when Krishna along with her husband used to work in a small room for making pickles. Now, she has more than 100 employees in her firm and has become one of the biggest employment-providing sources to nearby villages.

After migrating to Delhi, she took training for three months at KVK, Ujwa, New Delhi.

In 2001, Krishna chose to undergo training in food processing methods.

After her training, she started making pickles.

The initial products she made were karonda (Carissa carandas) pickle of 100 kilograms and 5 kilograms of chilly pickle. She invested Rs 3,000  for this purpose.

The first net profit that Krishna received was of Rs 5,250.

Investment of Rs 3,000 and profit of Rs 5.250, sounds like a great deal. Her business had taken off.

After Karonda pickles, she tried a new product and taht was Karonda candy.

At the beginning, her new product Karonda candy didn't draw good response. It was then she decided to change the marketing strategy. It was her husband who took the responsibility of promoting their new product. 

Gradually, the sale of Karonda candy picked up. The product with an innovative idea gave good profits to them.

The product with an innovative idea gave good profits to them.

Krishna who sold her pickles on a cart once has now a market share worth crores of rupees. Her business is now well expanded.

Under the banner of Shri Krishna Pickle, Krishna now sells more than 100 different varieties of pickles.

She keeps on making new additions on her product list. These products include not just pickles but chutneys, preservatives, murabba etc.

Krishna Yadav has received 'Nari Shakti Puraskar-2015' by President of India Pranab Mukherjee. She was felicitated on International Women's Day in 2012 as well.
