The teenagers are helplessly screaming in pain with tears rolling out of their eyes; eyes which have been pepper sprayed for a class experiment. Yes, "the teens you'll see in the video below have been pepper sprayed as a part of their syllabus". It was a task for them to hold on as much as possible but after some time, most of them started jumping and crying in agony.
While the students were shouting "God's name," their teachers did nothing but watched them in horror. It was a regular class of 'Criminal Science and Technology', while one of their teachers was filming the practical through a cell phone.
The entire incident took place on the campus of Barberton High School. Students were lined up against a brick wall waiting for the spray.
An instruction officer can be heard saying "stop resisting, please comply," before spraying the spray.
Let's have a look!
The entire practical exam for the subject was conducted after taking the 'must-required' waiver form signed by their parents, along with the detailed explanation of all the things that could go wrong 'unintentionally' during the exercise. If there's anyone to blame, then it's the parents.
The waiver form indicated straightly that "each student will have the option to be swabbed or receive a quick 'burst' to the facial area with this chemical agent," reports News.com from Australia.
Well, the spray causes an irritation and then a burning sensation in the area where it's sprayed (mostly eyes). And this sensation and irritation continue for almost 30 minutes to one hour.
"It'll help them (teens) to understand the effect of pepper spray and how to manage yourself and stay active when someone uses it against you."
However, to increase the number of participants it was announced, those who'll take it will get extra rewards points in their graduation degree.
In the video, the officer explains the tactics for public order control before the experiment and then carries on with the pepper class.
