The 66-year-old BJP Member of Parliament Paresh Rawal is one of the illustrious Indian actors who has always left his fans in awe of his acting skills. The veteran actor grabbed attention through his power-packed performances in the films like Hera Pheri, Welcome, Hungama and Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
Currently, he is not hogging the limelight for any of his upcoming flick. Instead, he is in eye of a Twitter storm.
Seems like celebrities love dragging themselves into a social media war. After Sonakshi Sinha (who had a serious Twitter feud with Sona Mohapatra), Paresh Rawal is another B-town star who has embroiled himself in tweet controversy.
Paresh took to Twitter on Sunday night, that is, on May 21 and made an offensive statement saying, "Instead of tying stone pelter on the army jeep tie Arundhati Roy". Arundhati Roy is a writer and an activist who is known for his controversial statements on Kashmir.
Here's what Paresh Rawal tweeted and how others responded to it.

Arundhati should be tied to an army jeep as shield against stone pelters.
She is known for her controversial views. She had said that not even 70 lakh soldiers can change conditions in restive Kashmir.

Another tweet from Rawal's verified Twitter account said Sagarika Ghose be treated in the same way as Roy.
It is based on an incident when a Kashmiri, who provoked stone pelting, was tied to an army jeep as a shield against stone pelters.
Paresh Rawal has deleted the tweet but made no clarification.
On the work front, Paresh Rawal will be seen in Narendra Modi's biopic
