Billboard Music Awards took place at T-Mobile Arena on May 21, 2017, in Las Vegas. The awards that are better known for their live performances than the actual winners, was star studded in every corner. With Drake breaking Adele's record for the most awards collected which was 12 by winning 13 out of the 22 nominations, more such records were broken.
The night was hosted by Venessa Hudgens and Ludacris who according to Drake, looked 'incredible'.Beyonce and Twenty-One Pilots each won five awards, while the Chainsmokers, who tied Drake with 22 nominations, won four awards, including top Hot 100 song for "Closer'' with Halsey. Lastly, the performers included Chainsmokers performing 'Young', Drake performing 'Fountains of Bellagio', Ed Sheeran singing 'Castle on the Hill' and Bruno Mars performing his new single 'Versace on the Floor'. Other performances included those by Lorde, Sam Hunt, Halsey, Camila Cabello and Julia Michaels with Camila Cabello.
