The Big B of Bollywood is nowhere near retirement, in fact with his age he seems to be picking up more projects than ever.
You have witnessed couple of reunions happening over the time in the Indian film industry and will witness again in sometime from now, when Rishi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan will be seen together on the silver screen after a long gap of 26 years, or "hiatus" as Rishi called it in one of his tweets. Off screen too, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor are good friends.
The Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan who was rejected for his voice is now known for his baritone voice. He will be performing the role of a father in his next film - 102 Not Out.
No doubt, Amitabh Bachchan has played a father's role with panache whether it was in the film Mohabbatein or now.
But this time, it's different because.....
Remember how elegantly the 74-year old actor played the role of his son's son in the film, Paa? Well, now that role will be played by Rishi Kapoor. Rishi will be playing the son's character who is 75-years old and Amitabh is still rocking the character who is 102-years old. The film, 102 Not Out, has been taken from a Gujarati play of the same name.
As it looks from the first look of the poster, the father (Amitabh) even at the age of 102 is enjoying the life to its best but the 75-year old son (Rishi) doesn't seem happy about his Dad's presence clouding him.
As Taran Adarsh, the film critic informed through his tweet that the film is adapted from a Gujarati play by Saumya Joshi.
The duo had acted earlier in films like Kabhie Kabhie, Coolie and more; and are once again on a great start to showcase the amazing chemistry of "Akbar" and "Anthony".
