We're proud to be Indians, aren't we? Yes, we are and so it goes without saying that we're highly spiritual. No matter how many people you come across in a day saying they're atheist but at the end of the day, deep inside they are religious. If you want to be fooled then you will be, then whether it be some marketing gimmick or normal people with no supernatural powers claiming to have them.
In the land of Baba jees' and Mata jees', every other person you see wants to appear as the messenger of God. In the same society, there are people like Radhe Maa, ring a bell? No, then let me give you some prologue. The resident of Gurdaspur, Punjab and a mother of two decided to become an avatar of Goddess Durga and since then people have been believing in the same.
As it turns out, the next stunt she has pulled is in the acting line:
The 52-year-old who proclaims herself as the God's avatar chose to give up all the worldly affairs after her husband left India for better prospects. Eventually became a part of Paramhans Dera and after her fan circle increased, she moved to Mumbai. Once again it seems like she stepped into another sphere of life in order to amaze her followers.
The resident of Borivali suburb of Mumbai thought she could also become a part of the Web industry. With the YouTube web series on the rise, it seems like this time the Web Series World has been able to persuade Radhe Maa in acting for -
Yes, that's the name of the web series in which you'll be seeing the alleged goddess in human form act as per the Director's say. But according to Ramman, she'll be playing the role of God's messenger in the series too.
But, Who's Ramman?
The actor-turned-producer Ramman has taken up the project and seems to be really happy with Radhe Maa's acting when he told TOI that - "She was spontaneous and co-operative. It was easy because she was playing herself. The result has turned out to be good."
While talking about the web series, the producer said that her name Radhe Maa had a whole different meaning for him. "Raah De Maa" is what he believes in which means "show us the way, mother". You'll be seeing a similar role played by her when in the Web Series, Radhe Maa actually makes the protagonist come out of depression.
Another spiritual leader in India, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh who has already travelled the same road on a much bigger platform with films like "MSG: The Messenger", "MSG-2 The Messenger" and a couple after that.
It's time you started one of your own Web Series. With two spiritual leaders already on the path to fame, do you feel inspired?
