The international pop icon, Justin Bieber cancelled all his post-event plans of attending grand Bollywood party, sightseeing in Delhi, Jaipur and Agra and left India after his 'lip-synced' performance in Mumbai's D.Y. Patil Stadium.
Ever since it was announced, most of us had already started imagining how Justin would sing his famous songs on stage, his grand entry in the chopper and nothing to hide, we had already imagined him sitting on the bench in front of the Taj Mahal sharing the pictures on social media with his millions of followers around the world. Unfortunately, we would never get to see those images for now at least.
Disheartened Justin Bieber has already left India silently. Now, it's time for all of us to figure out what must've gone wrong.
Let's try and find out the answers!
The humidity in Mumbai took charge on Justin Bieber. The singer was in sweat during his performance, and the irritation was seen in his act as well. It was so visible that he had to say, "Sorry I missed my tunes. Well, it's too humid here, and that may have led to it," while putting his wet hands on guitar again. He had a napkin on his hand throughout the act, and he kept on wiping his head.
Atithi Devo Bhava, that's a saga we tell to everyone who visits India. And most of the celebrities who come here to perform from the different part of the world seem to have believed it too. But, now it seems that we failed drastically to keep an international youth icon, Bieber happy in India.
No one can deny the fact that Mumbai is an overcrowded city of India. And the overcrowdedness was all on display in the D.Y. Patil Stadium as well. The event date, season and arrangements were not in sync as they should be.
Justin was staying in Lower Parel's St. Regis hotel and he had to perform at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai which is almost 33.5 Kms. away. We can understand he wanted to move in a car and decided to skip the chopper, but did anyone tell him what he might face on his way to the stadium?
The organisers also failed to keep the stadium fresh. At least the stage on which he had to act.
There are many things which prove that Justin might be feeling disheartened, as India failed to find a place on his social media platform. The only tweet in which he has mentioned India was before arriving at Mumbai.
However, it could be possible that we might be over-judging ourselves in terms of pleasing Bieber with our arrangements and his demands. After all, he is an artist and has become a pop icon in such a short time. So, it's quite obvious that he expects more than whatever he's been offered.
If we want to figure out the reasons of his this kind of behaviour, then there are a lot of things to talk about, and many speculations could be made.
He'll be continuing his world tour, Purpose, in Johannesburg and Cape Town on May 14th and 17th respectively.
That's all, folks!
