North Korea has released a set of shocking photos showing the military power of the nation to be put to use in case of a war. The pictures showed an entire beach of the state's east coast filled with several explosions while soldiers carried out pre-war drills.
Submarines were also included in this display of power as they emerged from the Wonsan town's water port. Jets are shown taking off and landing with an estimation of over 300 – 400 artillery units being used in these drills.
These bizarre images released by North Korea are showing massive drills of the military which proves that the North Korea is more than ready to wage a full proportion war on the west if the situation asks for it. Daniel Newton of Neon Nettle said, "The gut-wrenching show of force reveals Kim Jong-un's fighter jets, attack submarines, and multiple artillery units."
A North Korea propaganda newspaper based in Pyongyang said: "There is no limit to the strike power of the People's Army armed with our style of cutting-edge military equipment including various precision and miniaturised nuclear weapons and submarine-launched ballistic missiles."
North Korea released these images of the fire drills carried out live to celebrate the 85th anniversary of country's army foundation. The media has described this as the nation's "largest ever live fire drill". The video of the occasion shows Kim Jong-un with a defiant pose while he was present at the ceremony.
"More than 300 large-caliber self-propelled guns took part in the massive show of force and the huge display of firepower, that was staged amid escalating tensions in north-east Asia," said, the North Korea's KCNA news agency.
North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un supervised the exercises showing navy and airforce vehicles playing their part, torpedos being fired from the submarines, and numerous artillery units.
"The brave artillerymen mercilessly and satisfactorily hit the targets, and the gunshots were very correct, he said, adding that they showed well the volley of gunfire of our a-match-for-a-hundred artillery force giving merciless punishment to the hostile forces," KCNA added.
Manoeuvres have been carried out by South Korea and United States forces during this week, whereas, warships from Japan conducted drills in collaboration with aircraft carrier strike group from the US.
Washington and Pyongyang, currently has a rattling heated sabre as the administration of US President Donald Trump declared "the era of strategic patience" for nuclear weapon's programme of North Korea as it was at an end. This muscle flexing from North Korea comes amidst all of this political hoopla.
