He is having a wonderful season at Anfield. However, that did grab the attention of Real Madrid's president Florentino Perez over a possible move to Bernabéu next summer.

Perez is very interested in acquiring his services and wants him playing for Real Madrid as a replacement for Luka Modric.
Spanish outlet Don Balon claim the Croatia international has had his head turned by Bayern Munich. The report also claims that Real are willing to submit a £30 million bid.
Real has some high profile targets to their name, some of them are Marco Veratti, Bernardo Silva, and Philippe Coutinho. Real aren't afraid to break the bank if the need comes.
Barcelona made it very public that they want Coutinho in Barcelona stripes, however, the midfielder stayed put, it will be interesting to see that will he be tempted by the glamor of Spanish Giants or he'll continue with Liverpool.
