Olga Shirnina has colourised the epic images taken during World War II (1939 to 1945). The images include the best women Russian snipers of that time.
Moscow-based Olga Shirnina, who has coloured the black and white photographs of WWII, said, "I'm interested in the history of Russia. It is full of dramatic, cataclysmic events which impacted the history of the country (Russia) and the whole world." Olga is a Russian image translator who adds colour to old, black and white photographs.
Soviet Russia was a major player in WW II. Its fight against Germany was one of the most horrific events of that time.
