When question by WittyFeed about the chemistry his character shares with Akshara's and Gurmeet's in the movie, Vivaan explained, "It is a love triangle but as oppose to other love triangles here Laadoo and Laali are also accomplices and partners in crime.

So, it starts off with almost a Bunty Aur Babli kind of note. Laaddoo is an unscrupulous, dishonest kind of a character. He is a wheeler-dealer, bustler who coming from a small town wants to make it big. He does various questionable things. One thing, in particular, is the pregnancy aspect. He is someone who doesn't live up to the responsibility. He abandons his girlfriend after she reveals her pregnancy."

He said, "I think for me as an actor it is definitely the '30s and '40s Warner Brothers Gangster movies... Humphrey Bogart, James Cagney, and Edward G. Robinson... this was the pre-Brando generation, and these guys were not into method acting... they really affected me.

Even today they don't teach you Bogart and Cagney in acting books because they are considered little larger than life, operatic and dramatic. Some of the greatest acting in the history of cinema has been done by Cagney... he should be an inspiration for every actor."
