It's always been believed that education is the formula for success. Well, there is no doubt in it, but at the same time, I do not completely agree with this. And to prove it; I can't stop myself from giving you the examples of the brilliant minds who are dropouts, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg.
Let me be clear about something; I'm not questioning the school curriculum or the teachers who transform us from a caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly.
But over the years, going to a school, getting good grades, going to a good university and finally landing up into a high-paid job, has become a straight and a monotonous path.
There are times when the schooling system goes wrong, and I'm here to prove it! Enjoy reading! Thanks in advance!
According to geologists and evolutionists, diamonds were formed about 1-3 billion years ago. Their creation requires a combination of intense pressure and high temperature deep in the Earth's mantle. Carbon-containing minerals provide the carbon source and the slow, but steady growth occurs over extensive periods of time (1 to 3.3 billion years!)
Neurologist Barry Gordon has proved the myth wrong. Although the origins of that myth are still a mystery, what Barry has found out is that we use 10 percent of our brains when we are at rest or thinking. He further explains that brain is active almost all the time. Though, it weighs just 2-3 percent of body's mass but consumes 20% of body's energy. Even when we're sleeping, most people say that the brain is least active. However, the brain is still hypersensitive.
Einstein was not only a brilliant math student; he regularly ranked at the top of his class. Einstein himself has said that 'I never failed in mathematics. Before I was fifteen, I had mastered differential and integral calculus.'
The myth originated when Einstein began to become more involved with physics than math in the University. He attended a very few math courses and scored 4 out of 6 (the point scale back then) in mathematics.
This is completely absurd!
During the middle age, a lump of molten glass would be rolled, expanded and flattened before being moved into the glass panes that you see today. To be installed correctly, these glass panes used to be thicker at the edges and heaviest at the bottom. Due to a heating and cooling process during the creation, the object is left between a liquid and a solid state.
Gravity is present everywhere but it varies. It's the gravity that keeps the moon in our orbit and what keeps the Earth rotating around the sun. There is a small amount of gravity in space. It exists everywhere in the whole universe and it is considered to be the most important force that binds all matter together. Without gravity, nothing would exist as all matter would fly apart in different directions.
Researchers have discovered that there are thousands of sensors on the tongue that can identify any taste. They have further explained that it is actually the neurons in the brain that interprets the several tastes and not the different segments of the tongue.
The myth here is that the de-oxygenated blood is blue while blood from the heart is red because it's just been filled with oxygen.
The reason our veins appear to be in a different color is due to light and its reflection in our eyes. Veins seem to be blue because light has to perforate the skin to brighten it. Different colors of light penetrate the skin differently thereby changing the appearance of your veins.
