The youth of India is defining the country like never before. They are ambitious, dynamic, full of hope and creativity. Their tech-savvy avatar is the thing that's differentiating them from the older lot. They are smarter, versatile and impatient. They are risk-taking and finally, making unbelievable things happen.
The biggest example is the millionaire Founder and CEO of OYO Rooms, Ritesh Agarwal. He's our own Mark Zuckerberg, who has made a resounding impact just at the age of 22. Another example, WityFeed CEO Vinay Singhal is just 26.
Need we say more? Achievements speak for themselves.
Open-minded, fresh, charged-up, fast and unbridled – that's the image of India's youth. They are going places and returning with flying colours, both literally and figuratively!
Youth depicts energy and a never say die spirit. The future of our country depends on the youth who will build the nation with their thoughtful ideas and innovations. What if the energy of the youth went haywire? What if they turn the other way? What if their exploding energy is not curbed? Seriously, we need to think over it.
Take for example, what happened in Punjab. The youth got into drugs, alcohol and the situation went absolutely out of control, so much so that there's a change of government from Prakash Singh Badal (Akali) to Capt. Amrinder Singh (Congress) in the hope that the situation will eventually change.
Yes, the menace is so deep, filthy and contagious!
A state known for its affluence, greenery, culture and 5-rivers is in the dangerous grip of drugs. It's said that almost 70% population is under this horrendous grip. The only reason being that the youth couldn't control themselves, and in no time their energy was consumed by drugs! Hopefully, with the change of guard, things will get better now onwards.
Let's look deeper. Talking generally, is our youth going in the right direction? What are their dreams and desires? What they want out of their life? What is their idea of life?
Numerous surveys have taken place and the bottom line of all the surveys is quite simple – they want a good life. They want money, good relationships, a supporting family, comfort and hi-tech gadgets. They want to travel, eat good food, celebrate occasions and live life to the fullest. They want to be happy-go-merry! And for all that, they are ready to work really hard.
But, in this race to everything, some things are fast losing ground! The youth is losing on the human side. They are now finding it difficult to handle relationships, whether it be girlfriends, boyfriends or maybe their family. Since, gadgets have become very important part of their life, which is solely responsible for cutting them from the real world. The real world is almost non-existent for them. Their world exists in their smartphones, video games, laptops and tablets. Psychologically, it's working on their concentration span; they are kind of losing focus and becoming irritable. They want everything fast, which is doing everything against the rule of law.
Hence the repercussions in the form of suicides, crime and frustration!
Seriously, the youth needs to sit down, relax and chill. Take a break from gargets, travel and celebrate with your loved ones. Follow your dream, spread love and laugh right from your heart. The world is beautiful; you just need to open your eyes and close your gadgets. You are the future of India.
We love you!
