After working in an array of movies with social messages, Akshay Kumar has signed another powerful movie. Khiladi actor will be seen playing the role of T-Series founder Gulshan Kumar in his next biopic. Akshay Kumar mentioned in a tweet that he has been associated with Gulshan Kumar from his very first movie. The 49–year-old actor is super excited to present the story of Emperor of Music on the silver screen.

Khiladi actor seems to be interested in working in different kind of movies these days.
Now, the actor will present the tale of Emperor of Music in his next biopic.
Gulshan Kumar's biopic Mogul will be directed by Jolly LLB 2 fame director Subhash Kapoor.
Jolly LLB 2 fame director, explained, "When Vikram Malhotra shared the idea of the film with me, it was a feeling of disbelief. I always told my team that the one story I would love to make a movie on was Gulshanji's and here I am doing just that."
Akshay Kumar stated, "I had the good fortune of knowing Gulshanji well and had a close association with him right from my first film 'Saugandh'. We both shared many things in common and came from a similar background. I am very excited to play him on screen."
Bhushan Kumar explained, "My father has been a guiding force all through my life, and I have always felt his presence in everything I do. I always knew that one day I would make Mogul and share my father's amazing story with the world. I am also extremely happy that my mother Sudesh Kumari will be producing the film. I can think of no one better than Akshay to play him on screen."
He was the son of a juice seller in Delhi. Gulshan entered into the music business when his father opened a shop selling records and audio cassettes.
Later, he founded his own music production in Delhi and moved to Mumbai with its success.
Gulshanji, a highly religious man, released several released several holy music albums under his banner. The whole life story of Gulshan Kumar including his murder outside a temple in Mumbai will be depicted in the biopic. Gulshan Kumar's daughters Tulsi Kumar and Khushali Kumar made a music album 'Mere Papa' in the memory of their loving father in 2016.
Hence, the announcement of Mogul has been made on her birthday today.
