On Thursday afternoon, 9th of March 2017, Game of Thrones gave goose bumps to the audience, its fans and followers when it announced the release date of Game of Thrones Season 7.

HBO and GoT collectively did not waste their time in publishing the release date using the trailer or posters of the season 7; rather they Livestreamed the date on Facebook, where users were asked to comment FIRE on a live video to reveal the date.

An enthralling teaser is released at the end of the live stream and on Twitter as well.

A clip is uploaded that highlighted the different sigils from all the house grating and rumbling for war, and audio of the clip featured notable dialogues from all the seasons. The clip ends when they all fall.

One of the much-awaited season 7 of Game of Thrones is also bringing some bad news for its fans. This season is not only delayed, but it will be shorter than any season you've seen so far, consisting only seven episodes.

David Benioff told in his interview with Variety that, "I think we're down to our final 13 episodes after this season. We're heading into the last lap." Although he also hinted that "nothing is set in stone" which makes season 8 possible.
