"The globe-trotting treasure-hunting money-making adventures of billionaire Scrooge McDuck and his nephews are coming back soon!" - DuckTales
Being an adult, the fondest childhood memory that I could still remember is of Sundays, or what my mother used to call them -- 'Fun Days'. Waking up early in the morning with the excitement, skipping the bath and breakfast to watch television was something like a 'Presidential treatment' to me.
I could still see myself, a child as mischievous as a monster, sitting close to his TV set and watching Duck Tales and all that it offered. Aren't you feeling nostalgic about your childhood?
The feeling is incomparable, and we would give everything to go back in time and re-live those moments. But, we don't have to! Don't jump off your seats when I'm gonna shout like hell "Duck Tales season two trailer is out, and yes, Uncle Scrooge is coming back!"
Our Uncle Scrooge will be coming back to Disney XD this summer, and the best part is Disney XD has already ordered a second season of the show! Although the season one is yet to air, isn't it incredibly impressive to hear this news? I'm dying out of eagerness.
Duck Tales has successfully won The Emmy Award in the late '80s / and early '90s. Duck Tales has been treasured by our generation for so long now that, it had to come back!
"I'm so excited that I can't believe some lucky people out there are making DuckTales again."
We'll hear the voice of David Tennant as Scrooge McDuck (that dialect!).
We also get to hear Bobby Moynihan as Huey, Dewey, and Louie, Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz, Kate Micucci as Webby Vanderquack, and forget not Beck Bennett as Launchpad McQuack!
In the trailer below, you also get a chance to get a glimpse of Scrooge McDuck's epic vault full of gold coins.
"DuckTales has a unique place in Disney's TV animation history, it drew its inspiration from Disney Legend Carl Barks' comic books and through its storytelling and artistic showmanship, set an enduring standard for animated entertainment that connects with both kids and adults. Our new series will bring that same energy and adventurous spirit to a new generation," says Senior Vice President for Disney XD, Marc Buhaj.
Well, we all could list hundreds of things, but to be precise let's find out what are those five things which Duck Tales comeback on television would be bringing back!
#1 Childhood: There will be enough of childhood memories rolling out of our eyes. Only a DuckTales fan would relate to this feeling. Childhood = Ducktales.
#2 DuckTales Theme Song: How could we ever forget that? "DuckTales! Woo-oo! Every day they're out there making DuckTales! Woo-oo! Tales of derring-do, bad and good Luck Tales!" Tell me honestly, don't you remember this theme song by heart? Yes, we all do.
#3 Adventures: And when DuckTales come, they bring a lot of adventurous rides with them for all of us. They're so excited that we've always got lost in them.
#4 Sensible Cartoons: Finally, there will be some wise picture on the tv set. In the past few years, the cartoon word in itself has become a slang. Let's hope, DuckTales re-writes old classic image.
#5 FUN DAY: Last, but not the least all the children around the world would be able to celebrate Funday again. And what we adult can do is, we can share this piece of information with all the DuckTales fans. Let the world knowUncle Scrooge is coming back.
"I'm Scrooge McDuck, I made my name being tougher than the toughies and smarter than the smarties, I'm back" - McDuck
I still couldn't calm myself about this. DuckTales, DuckTales Theme Song and everything else has captured my mind. I'm getting lost in the world of childhood memories.
It seems as if childhood days are going to come alive once again. Let's hope just like DuckTales, Disney relaunches all his classic cartoon series.
That's all, folks!
