In Eastern cultures, meditation has held a point of tremendous importance. Everyone knows that the concept of meditation has emerged from the east and that all eastern cultures such as Hinduism and Buddhism endorse meditation as a powerful tool. The western world has taken its sweet time to finally realize the power of meditation, as it has accepted the practice of yoga as a cure for life itself.
Many people have embraced yoga as a way of life - as a way to enhance the very essence of being alive. And that, my friends, is the real power of meditation. Meditation helps us tap into the deepest trenches of our emotional psyche and bring the turmoil inside to rest. But most of all, meditation helps us detach ourselves from the physical world, and see it for what it really is - just an illusion. Of course, it's only the ancient yogis who have been able to truly attain this sort of stature, and people like you and me may never be able to reach that stage. However, it is worth knowing how much more meditation can offer us, and hence, we bring to you this story.
Check it out!
It's only because of these senses that we see the world as it is, and what we see and feel is what is considered to be real.
These cultures say that the world as we see it is nothing more than an illusion - a Maya. And it is our mind's inability to see past this illusion that makes us accept this world as a 'reality.'
But according to eastern cultures, mind power isn't just a sci-fi concept, but the ultimate reality.
Eastern teaching says that the world is an illusion. So basically, we're inside the Matrix! And if our minds are powerful enough, we can see past this illusion, and bend reality to our liking.
Meditation unlocks the gates of our inner psyche and allows the cosmic energy within us to flow freely, ultimately empowering the mind to see the world as we see fit.
That's the ultimate goal of meditation - to see through the illusion and bend our reality as we see fit!
All of this may sound like hogwash, but meditation has been known to empower ancient beings to live in ways that we 'normal' people can't even think can be possible!
And it's not like they've not been inspected closely! They have been kept on regular watch, and there's nothing fishy! But here's the thing: even science isn't able to explain how these yogis are able to survive!
So maybe it really is true - meditation is the key!
