Every nature enthusiast knows that mother nature is full of surprises. She has so many tricks and treats up her sleeves which never ceases to amaze us!
The Ussuri Bay in Russia that goes by the name of Glass Beach is yet another example of this fact. Anyone who's ever seen a bar knows how beautiful the colorful bottles of alcohol lined up on the shelves look. Once they're emptied, the glass bottles go to the recycling stations to be melted and reused.
But, in Russia, during the Soviet era, a different tradition was followed. All the glass bottles were dumped into the Ussuri Bay. While most would say that such a practice is harmful to nature, and it is, in this particular instance, however, something good did come out of this practice.
And so, the waves of the North Pacific crushed the bottles into fine grains and washed them to the shore, which consolidated them in the form of smooth, colorful pebbles!
The coast is now known as Glass Beach. There was a time when Glass Beach was considered dangerous because of all the shattered glass pieces, but now, it's safe, and one of the most beautiful tourist attractions around the world! Check it out!
The reason it was considered dangerous were the pieces of glass that used to lie around the beach.
And all credits for this amazing transformation goes to mother nature!
And why wouldn't it be? The clear sight, added with the variety of colors make it one of the most beautiful and unique places to visit on Earth.
This has to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!
But who knew that after being churned for years, these same bottles would end being one of the most beautiful beaches ever!
There's no doubt that several Instagram users upload thousands of images of this beautiful place.
There are only a few with pebbles, and Glass Beach is probably the best of them all!
Well, Glass Beach is one place to definitely visit, and something tells me, it will be worth the travel!
