One can only imagine the shock of finding out that they were kidnapped at birth by the person they grew to love and know as their mother for 18 years. It sounds crazy, but that is exactly what happened to Kamiyah Mobley, when she was abducted from a Florida hospital in July 1998 by a woman disguised as a nurse.
Here, Alexis is sharing a happy moment with the woman she had always thought was her birth mom, Gloria Williams.
Jacksonville Sheriff's Office releases information about Kamiyah's recovery from South Carolina, where she spent the last 18 years as Alexis Manigo.
Kamiyah seen with her birth parents after being reunited with them. She told authorities that Gloria Williams had been a great mom. She said in court that she loved her and held no malice against her.
Gloria Williams was arrested at her home in Walterboro, South Carolina, where Kamiyah was raised along with William's two biological children. Kamiyah was not at home at the time of William's arrest.

Kamiyah, before her return to her birth parents, says that, "Williams is no felon".
Kamiyah was allowed to speak with Williams before her extradition to Florida.
