We have all gone through a lot of ghost town galleries and abandoned houses been left for almost 30 years or even more and got the fright of our life. But we never noticed the reasons behind their abandonment. Talking about big towns, they are abandoned after there has been an extinction of minerals, gold or silver in the town. Such is this town buried in the desert.
The town of Kolmanskop that can be traced down to somewhere in Namibia was once amongst the wealthiest towns in the world. Not just this, its hospital had the first X-ray unit in the entire southern hemisphere. But now it is buried in the desert.

At the time when diamonds were found in the desert but got abandoned 40 years later.
The families flocked their way to the area in order to make their fortune.
And why not, it makes everyone curious.
It is the perfect setting with sand flowing in and out of the places present in the town.
