As per the new law passed by the Supreme Authority of India, National Anthem must be played in the very beginning of every film screened in each and every theatre across the country.
"The directions are issued, for love and respect for the motherland is reflected when one shows respect to the National Anthem as well as to the National Flag. That apart, it would instil the feeling within one, a sense committed patriotism and nationalism,'' said a bench of Justices Dipak Misra and Amitava Roy.
Seems like the public has decided to respect the law and are literally standing in support of it. *Wink*. Perplexed?
