Indoor warm pools are awesome! You get to meet people in your community, move your body and feel energized. I LOVE a good hot/warm soak to drive the winter blues away, just because it's cold and gloomy outside does not mean, you have to stay indoors all day and night.
Look out for things you enjoy doing and find a way to still do them.

Oh boy! I have been craving for a night out! It does not matter if you bundle up and head out in the city or watch a Gilmore Girls marathon with your besties and have a facial party. It is important to reconnect around this time with positive uplifting people and see your life brim with joy and warmth.

8. Guard your body against infections and viruses naturally.

Apart from eating a balanced diet and drinking tons of water, Pranayama clears out your lungs and increases your immunity and helps clear out your mind and helps decrease mental clutter.

9. Cozy movie night at home ? YES PLEASE!

There is something about a fire burning on a cold winter night and the sound of popping popcorn and a heartwarming movie night at home that gives me all kinds of fuzzy feelings. Movies like Marley & Me are my favorite! 

10. Find a new hobby to pursue!

Art class, aerial yoga, guitar class, holiday cooking class? Whatever makes you get out of your comfort zone and makes you feel alive! Find a buddy in your community if you need to partner up for motivation and accountability.

11. Cozy date nights please!

Get excited! Wear your classiest attire, put on some red lipstick and spray that perfume. What a perfect way to rekindle that winter romance that we all desire!

Winter can wreak havoc on your skin & hair. Make sure to slough off the dead skin and moisturize optimally all across your body, nourish your hair with hot oil treatments and if you can afford, a pampering head to toe spa trip would rejuvenate your senses for sure.

Trust me, it works wonders on your subconscious mind when you wear bright colors. I rarely wear monochromatic outfits, you would know it if you followed me for a while. But at least try to incorporate a bright scarf if nothing else to get you into the winter holiday mood!

I hope these tried and tested suggestions work for you as it has worked for me and helped me get out of the winter slump till spring time swings by and I start feeling like a fresh blooming daisy again!
