Aamir Khan aka Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood has created a niche in the world of Indian cinema. His fans love him for the naturalistic drama he portrays onscreen but they adore him for the determination and dedication he pours in to justify each and every role he opts for. Be it the role of a college-going youth in blockbuster 3 Idiots or a young, cool teacher in Taare Zameen Par or a humanoid alien for the film P.K. Aamir immersed himself in all these roles and lived them up on the silver screen.
That's why movie buffs as well as the B-Town celebs eagerly look forward to Aamir's new release every year. With the release of Aamir's upcoming flick Dangal, an anticipation of all these people is nearing an end. But to remain patient till the date of release is actually a big deal. Isn't it friends?

Aamir Khan is playing Mahavir Phogat, the wrestler, and senior Olympics coach in the film. Stepping into the shoes of a wrestler was not a child's play for Aamir. It took him all blood, sweat and tears to portray Mahavir Phogat on screen.

When Aamir was asked about this experience of a lifetime, where he went through this tremendous change in his own bod, he said, "It was very scary. I reached 97 kilos and I had only 5 months in hand. I was so worried that I will not lose my weight."
"I used to feel very horrible when I used to see myself in mirror when I was getting fat. But when I had to lose weight I panicked but I tried convincing myself and say think of today. I used to get depressed but then I had to hit back." However, having said that, Aamir is game for taking up more films like this as he said, "It was very difficult for me to put on weight but if I like the script, I will do this kind of a film again."
Dangal is all set to hit the theaters during Christmas this year. Dangal (Wrestling in English) is a flick based on former wrestler Mahavir Phogat's life, who had to bid a goodbye to his dream of achieving gold in international wrestling due to a financial crunch he faced in his life. But he eventually pursued it, when his elder daughter Geeta Phogat bagged the very first gold in women's wrestling in Common Wealth Games.
