When you're in a serious relationship, you start dreaming of visiting every other country together. After all, you believe that you've found ''the one,'' and who wouldn't want to travel the world with their significant other?
Well, this couple we'll be talking about also love to travel together, but there's something terrible about their adventures that you might not like to believe. In fact, many people are wondering if it's just sheer bad luck or not. Read on!
They are an English couple who live in the Midlands. It seems like they're just another ordinary loving couple, right?
No, they're not an incredibly rich couple who loves to waste money. It's something more unusual than that.
And this is why some people believe they are the unluckiest yet the luckiest couple in the world.
Jason and Jenny Cairns-Lawrence were in New York and very close to The WTC when the terrorist attack took place. They luckily survived.
The 9/11 incident must have really made the couple more wary of going to places.
Jenny and Jason knew that London never had a catastrophic suicide attack, so they believed they made the right choice.
This terrorist attack led to the deaths of 52 people. Moreover, 700 people were injured. It was the first attack of its kind in London.
Should they be scared to travel by this time? Most likely.
Surely nothing terrible would happen, right?
This attack was orchestrated by Lashkar-e-Taiba, which is a Pakistani terrorist group.
In Mumbai, she was sad to see that someone will open a shop tomorrow with the knowledge that his brother was killed by terrorists. In New York, she noted how people were still in agony weeks after the 9/11 attack. And in London, the authorities looked terrified.
Jenny said that she should not be amused, but what happened to them was really interesting. The couple even hopes to write about their experiences, but none of them are supposedly great writers.
