A movie with a soul!
"Don't let your past blackmail your present, to ruin your beautiful future."
The movie starts with the messed-up life of Kaira played by charming Alia Bhatt and holds you till the end, where she successfully achieves a victory over all the problems of her life. The movie which is about the life of an urban girl Kaira, eventually makes you relate it with your own Zindagi. Because life is never a bed of roses for anyone of us and it has its talent of making us feel happy, sad, hurt and heartbroken as well.
The movie makes you laugh and even lets a tear roll the cheek. It makes you go happy and makes you feel sad and teaches you a lesson that all such emotions are an inseparable part of our life process.
Directed by Gauri Shinde, Dear Zindagi stars a phenomenal cast of Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Kunal Kapoor, Angad Bedi.
Music Composer: Amit Trivedi
Kaira, an urban youth, who is a talented cinematographer by profession, carries a baggage of her painful past on her young shoulders and the burden of painful memories, complicates her present and make her stand on the verge of ruining a beautiful future. While riding on this emotional rollercoaster she fortunately, bumps into a psychologist, Dr Jehangir Khan played by the king of romance Shah Rukh Khan, who she addresses as Jug. He plays her therapist and helps her get rid of that monkey on her back.
I probably don't need to mention how Shah Rukh and Alia performed in the film because the duo was fabulous as always. But if you love to watch Shah Rukh romance, then this movie may disappoint you. Shah Rukh has pulled off his never seen before avatar, but I bet you he will surely make you fall in his love again. The flawless chemistry between these two talented souls creates a magic and that magic doesn't allow you to get off the seat.
Along with the lead stars, Kunal Kapoor, Angad Bedi, Ali Zafar, Ira Dubey, Yashaswini Dayama, and Rohit Saraf in supporting cast have done an excellent job.
Shot a little in Mumbai and much in Goa, a paradise on the earth, the movie takes you to the exotic locations of Goa. The soulful music of the film composed by Amit Trivedi, lets one enjoy it to the fullest. Thumbs up to Amit Trivedi and his music.
