This isn't the first time, online dating sites have given us killers. I still remember the
immigrant who murdered a 64-year-old woman.
Meet Stephen Port, who used to meet gay men on dating sites, then he raped and murdered them.
Port was questioned over the death of Walgate and was jailed eventually.
And then Gabriel was found dead too.
Port made the deaths seem connected to each other.
His final victim was Jack Taylor.
His timeline has been interesting too. The men were found dead in the same area over 15 months, but police failed to connect them.
Port denied the charged placed on him in the police room.
This is the bottle that had all the DNA samples.
He used to maintain a fake profile on Grindr portraying that he is an Oxford graduate.
He even had some really strange hobbies like collecting Transformer toys in adulthood.
There are a million such predators who exploit people on online dating site. This might as well be an alert for you, in case you are indulged in any such activity.
