When you were a child, did you ever think of leaving your home and living somewhere far away?
Perhaps, it's because of those Disney movies that we were entertained by the idea of becoming wild and feral children. But what does it mean to be a child living with real wild animals for years? This greatly interests me as I know that people at a young age need adequate socialization in order for them to properly adapt to society in the long run.
Oxana Malaya was only eight years old when she was found living inside a family dog kennel. She lived in Ukraine and this incident occurred in 1991.
Her parents were alcoholics and she was left alone starting when she was just three years old. Thankfully, she was rescued and is reportedly living at a shelter for mentally handicapped individuals.
Marina Chapman was kidnapped in 1954. At the time, she lived in Colombia. Marina Chapman was left in a jungle. Soon, she became friends with an intelligent monkey tribe.
Hunters found her, but Chapman was sadly sent to a brothel. Now, she is happily married and has two wonderful daughters.
A boy was seen in the Andes in Peru. He lived with goats for eight years. No one really knows why he lived with wild Peruvian goats, but he was able to survive by consuming goat's milk and berries.
A dirty, naked woman was found in January 2007 in the province of Ratanakiri in Cambodia. Some people believe that she was born in a village, but her parents left her when she was just eight years old.
Her father recognized her due to her scar. As much as her family tried to make her normal again, P'ngieng left her home and returned to the jungle in May 2010.
He was only seven years old when he was found inside a tiny apartment in Russia in 2008. For some odd reason, this apartment was also the home of dozens of birds.

A feral child was found in Kaluga, Russia, in December 2007. He was abandoned by his parents. As expected, he didn't want to be surrounded by other people.
He was sent to a hospital after the villagers discovered him in a den. But before the medical staff could conduct any tests, he had already escaped.
