She is an MBA from Pune and has worked for several reputed companies in the past including Times of India, Carlson Group of Hotels, and Airtel. 

Chhavi left her corporate job because of her love and affection towards her village. 

To bring a change in the rural India, Chhavi went back to Soda village in Rajasthan's Tonk district.

Chhavi has been working hard to solve several problems in the village including water conservation, solar power generation and construction of roads, toilets, and banks.

Chhavi is an elected representative of Soda village, Rajasthan. 

The youngest MBA sarpanch in India has provided regular supply of drinking water and accomplished the construction of more than 40 roads in the village.  

Chhavi Rajawat is utilizing her education for changing the face of rural India. 

She even succeeded in accomplishing the Millennium Development Goals of Soda village in 2011.

She explained, "Out of the total 900 houses at Soda, toilets have been constructed in 800 houses. A soft drink company spent Rs 20 lakh for cleanliness of a pond, the only source of drinking water in the village." 

Chhavi Rajawat participated as chairperson in the 11th Info-Poverty World Conference held at the United Nations in 2011. 

She stated, "Out of the total 900 houses at Soda, toilets have been constructed in 800 houses. A soft drink company spent Rs 20 lakh for cleanliness of a pond, the only source of drinking water in the village."

She stated, "Political leaders and bureaucrats are unaware of the hardships faced by the villagers. Policy makers do not want to come to take assessment of the welfare programmes planned by the authorities. As technology does not discriminate, online watch would check on the misuse of funds by corrupt officials." 

Chhavi Rajawat who comes from an affluent business family is the only MBA sarpanch in India. 

MBA sarpanch enjoys staying in village and receives immense support from family for her decision. She explained, "My parent Narendra Singh Rajwat and Harsh Chauhan always stood by me in the toughest times. But my spiritual master Sadhguru is a guiding force to live for the society."
