Vaani Kapoor will return to silver screen after a gap of 3 years. Befikre actress decided to take a break in career after the release of her debut movie Shuddh Desi Romance in 2013. Sources suggest that a filmmaker asked her to wait for her second movie.

Vaani Kapoor made her Bollywood debut in the movie produced by Aditya Chopra in 2013. 


The 28-year-old actress was paired opposite to Sushant Singh Rajput in Shuddh Desi Romance movie.

Befikre actress played a leading role in the Tamil version of Band Baaja Baaraat in 2014. 

She was paired opposite to actor Naveen Babu Ghanta aka Nani in Tamil movie Aaha Kalyanam. 

The 28-year-old actress decided to wait for her second Bollywood movie for 2 long years. 


Who is the man behind Vaani Kapoor's break in career?

Vaani feels blessed to make an entry in Bollywood with Aditya Chopra's movie. 


The man behind her decision is none other than Aditya Chopra.

In her second movie Befikre, Vaani has been directed by Aditya Chopra. 


She explained at a song launch event, "I was waiting for something really good and exciting to come my way. The gap is because of Adi Chopra. He told me to wait and do a film that will be apt and justify me as an actor. Adi took two years for this film ('Befikre') but I am glad to have waited." 

Vaani is paired opposite to heartthrob Ranveer Singh in Befikre. 


The movie is scheduled to be released on December 9, 2016.

Befikre actress stated that she was bullied a lot by Ranveer. 


Vaani said, "He (Ranveer) bullies me a lot. He was mean to me." 

On the other hand, Ranveer enjoyed troubling her co-star on the sets of Befikre. 


Bajirao Mastani actor stated, "After ages I was ragging someone and I had great fun." 

Ranveer and Vaani became close buddies during the shoot of Befikre.


Vaani Shared about her experience of working with Ranveer. She said, "He makes you feel very comfortable. The fact that he is a good soul and one can see that through his films." 

The trailers of Befikre seem to be promising enough to justify Vaani's break in career. 


We can't wait to see the sparkling chemistry of Ranveer and Vaani on the silver screen.
