A kinder garden teacher once told a story about a child who has Autism. They developed a tradition at lunch where the teacher would ask for one of his cookies and he would say no. As soon as she walked away, he would hug his cookie and smile. On the teacher's appreciation day, he realized that he didn't give anything to her. The teacher assured him that it was okay, but he started panicking. He ran to his lunchbox and pulled out a cookie and gave it to her.
"Yours is the only class I've ever wanted to wake up early for." Which teacher won't smile after hearing this!
Once a college instructor said,'' Today one of my student and I ended up walking the same direction after class. As we went we chatted about class related things. It wasn't anything huge or remarkable but was something I loved the most."
