All over the world, robberies are quite common, although they are quite risky. Of all the sorts and styles of theft, robberies are probably the boldest. They are done in the open and involve a good chance of getting caught.
The only factor that these crimes count on is sheer force and fear, and of course, a little bit of timing so as to escape the police. And so, for a robber to successfully rob a place, he needs to know for sure what he's dealing with. But what happens when there's a deviation from what was expected in the target-site of the criminals?
Well, this story will give you a good idea about that. Check it out!
France seems to be spiraling into becoming a crime-infested land. Quite recently, a McDonald's restaurant was targeted by a gang of robbers.
Two Frenchmen, probably in their early twenties, enter the restaurant, firing their guns in the air to mark their presence.
What the robbers did not know was that they were walking right into a pit. And we say this because eleven of the forty customers in the restaurant were special forces soldiers, who were trained to exterminate terrorists in public areas.
The soldiers decided to wait for the perfect opportunity to arrest the robbers, without drawing out their guns, as that could have put the lives of many people in danger.
The soldiers found the perfect opportunity to strike when one of the two men tripped. Special forces immediately tackled him and pinned him to the ground, while the other robber pointed his gun at them.
After warning him to put his weapon down (to which he did not abide), the soldiers shot him in the stomach.
And they paid the price, in full. After getting arrested, they were sent to the hospital to be treated for their wounds.
Now, they're in jail, awaiting trial.
The men face charges of armed robbery, for which they will soon be tried.
What happens absolutely serves them right.
Justice will catch up eventually. As it did with these guys.
