This might be the best thing you'll hear all day.
Google has rolled out net banking as a payment option for apps, games, music, movies, books, etc. on the Google Play marketplace in India. We know we were already blessed with payment options like credit cards, debit cards, and gift cards, but they are difficult to use.
This is the fourth payment method that Google has added to the platform.
This also brings into notice the fact that Indians are the people who are most likely to pay for digital media. The service will be rolled out slowly and is available on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.
While you might be cursing Google a lot of times and finding out ways to stop Google from recording everything you search or even watching what Google employees have to say about their workplace, this might just make you fall in love with Google.
Not everyone you know has a credit card.
The feature is only available for Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and not available on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and Android 7.0 Nougat.
This means the new feature is being added irrespective of the Android version you are using.
Slide out the menu from the hamburger icon on the left of the screen, and go to the Accounts. Here choose Payment Methods and tap on the + button at the bottom right. If you have the Netbanking option, you will see it there. You can choose your bank from the list given and go BUY!
