Harmful chemicals such as aluminum, zinc, and zirconium are present in deodorants which may reduce perspiration but lead to side effects such as skin irritation, redness, and inflammation.
On another hand, harmful elements present in these chemical solutions may prove toxic to lungs and other parts of the body, promoting serious health issues. In some cases, the chemical present in deodorant may also damage the liver.
There are many two-in-one products available in the market, that is antiperspirant-cum-deodorant. In such products, a number of propellants are extremely high which may lead to cardiac arrest if inhaled in high concentration.
