Liverpool could be set for an unexpected invasion into the target market when the window opens in January, with Jurgen Klopp declaring this week that Danny Ings' season-ending knee injury has pushed him to re-evaluate his plans.

...dip into the transfer market in January in the wake of Danny Ings' season-ending knee injury.
Unfortunately, the 24-year-old ruled out for up to nine months.
"The Africa Cup of Nations we already knew about, so we don't need to be influenced or surprised about that, but it could be a moment when we approach the market," he continued.

He was the subject of a failed £11 million bid from Liverpool at the end of summer.
He scored two goals and laid on five assists in 11 appearances in all competition.
Despite the strength of Thomas Tuchel's squad, Christian has started five of his seven Bundesliga appearances, counting most recently in the Revierderby against Schalke 04.
Now, what do you think, will Jurgen opt for Pulisic or would look for other players?
