And Anfield legend, Phil Thompson, has noticed that as well. He feels that things are turning around now, thanks to Klopp, and he seems to be optimistic about the Premier League title. He says that he has seen a change in the attitude of the players, something which is a major factor. He thinks Klopp is the number one reason for this change and has many good things to say about him.
Anfield legend, Phil Thompson, is optimistic about Liverpool winning the Premier League title.
He finds Klopp to be the number one reason for the optimism.
"He's dynamic, charismatic, he has everybody believing, the fans, the players, he seems to work so well with them," he said.
"They are able to prepare for games, they have great recovery time, and you can feel it here for Anfield at home games. He is probably the most important thing. He has to be the number one reason."
Phil cites this as a major issue that was faced in the beginning but says that Klopp has been able to iron it out.
Phil is optimistic that Anfield is going to become a fortress again, given the fact that Liverpool has been unbeaten this season at their home.
Phil does not miss any chance to give Klopp the credit he deserves.
"To the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United, in particular, the home form throughout the glory days was brilliant; always making sure they won nearly all of their home games, and then a good deal of away games, or not to get beaten," Phil said, talking about the glory days.
"Liverpool's home form has not been great for a few years now, and I think Jurgen Klopp started to turn it around," he said.
"We've seen already that there is a change in mood in the home games, and I think he'll make sure that he turns Anfield into a fortress once again."
