A little dust in the eye causes so much of trouble, but have you ever wondered what a person goes through when they have to deal with two pupils in one eye or maybe no eye ball in the socket?
You have to see this to believe that people are still living their normal lives with these bizarre eyes!
Beware! These pictures may give you nightmares.
Pupula Duplex, meaning double pupil in Latin, is a condition when a person had two pupils in one eyeball. This condition is non-existent in the medical world but it's said that the Chinese Minister of State in 995 AD, Liu Ch'ung, had suffered from this.
It left the whole world in a state of shock when this photo was aired on Ripley's Believe it or not a few years back.
Ouch. The picture itself made me cringe!
Eye Piercing is different from Eyebrow Piercing, and it's pretty expensive because it's a rare and also requires a surgeon to do the job. People usually get the piercing done in the eyeball or on the eyelids.
A 19 years old was treated for a hairy mass growing inside his right eyeball. The boy had this since birth but it only kept growing in size with age. It didn't cause any sort of pain just a vision defect, a little discomfort while blinking and that sensation of a foreign body existing in his eyeball.
The doctors had to surgically remove the mass.
Billy Owen was a motorcycle mechanic who had a loving wife and an adorable baby boy. But who knew his sinus issues would take an ugly turn in life for him. He had Sinonsal Undifferentiated Carcinoma (SNUC) which is a rare form of cancer affecting the nasal cavity with only a 10% chance of survival. Billy's cancer had spread to such an extent that the doctors had to remove half of his right side of the face including muscles, nerves and even his right eye!
He can even stick his finger out of this right eye socket, which is quite creepy. He now makes a living from his missing eyeball performing as a zombie in music videos and haunted houses like The Goretorium in Las Vegas.
So apparently, this guy from Shanghai smokes with his eyes.
He places the cigarette into his eye and, scrunches his face to take a drag and then exhales the smoke out from his mouth which most humans are incapable of.
Such talent, much wow!
You read that right! Martin Jones lost his vision had been blind for almost a decade.
But now he has his vision back and that happened because he got a piece of tooth implanted in his eye. The canine, which is also known as the "Eye-tooth" was implanted in his eye. Yup, his own canine. The doctors then placed a man-made eye lens into its base and placed it under the lid of his eyes, allowing the tissues to grow over the canine.
Also, a part of his skin from his mouth was taken and implanted over the canine for blood supply. Then they cut a hole in the cornea for the light to enter the eyes.
Over 600 people have been gifted with their eye-sights because of surgery.
And that's the power of medical science!
Kim Goodman, we've seen her a lot of times on many live shows. She's someone who can pop her eyes out of her eye socket for about 12 millimeters. She also holds the world record for the farthest eyeball protrusion.
Her eyes were officially measured in Istanbul, Turkey on November 2, 2007.
Retinoblastoma is a rare kind of cancer that usually happens to children below the age of 5.
This cancer develops in the retina, which is a light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye which detects light and colors.

The doctors who were working on removing Nagabhushanam Siva's left eye discovered that she had full grown teeth embedded inside.
She was diagnosed with Teratoma by the doctors at a government hospital in Chennai, South India. The tumor had pushed her eyeball inside the socket blocking her vision and damaging her optic nerve. She was also unable to move her eyeball that caused Lazy eye syndrome.
The doctors had seen tooth-like tissues in the tumor, but had rarely come across such a case.
Ilker Yilmaz, a young construction worker from Istanbul left everybody in an awe when he broke one of the most unusual records to exist. On 31st August 2004, this man snorted milk from his nose and squirted it out from his left eye. He squirted it about 9.2 feet away!
