McDonald's double cheeseburger  i.e. McDouble has been described as "The cheapest, most nutritious and bountiful food that has ever existed in human history." But we never thought so, right?

Same is the case with a few other eatables, which are actually not that bad to our health but we have been blaming them for being high in calories and the reason for our various health problems.

Here, I have a list of those food items for which we don't have to be very precautionary from next time we consume or order them.

1. Milkshake

A milkshake is not just milk and fruits, but it is skimmed milk and plenty of sugar. Generally, it is thought as a high-calorie item. But actually, a milkshake is highly nutritious.

Semi-skilled milk is a good source of calcium and high in vitamin B12 which is an important part of the diet.

Also, bananas and other fresh fruits with low quantity of sugar make a healthy treat.

Yes, we have always thought eggs to be high in cholesterol, which might lead to a heart problem.

But while the yolk in a single egg contains nearly the cholesterol which is recommended for a daily limit, it is the richest nutrient part with zinc, iron and vitamins A & D. Also, the yolk is extremely high in protein.

Well yeah... each bar is high in sugar and fat. But cocoa is very rich in a number of polyphenols and minerals. The polyphenols present in the chocolate, mainly flavonols, are the same compounds found in green tea and red wine which are good for your heart.

Also, a clear link between chocolate consumption and the increase in body weight has not been discovered yet.

People suffering from high blood pressure should consume chocolate because it could reduce the chances of having a heart attack by 20 percent over five years.

No! No! No! Pizza? Really?

While pizza is not very low in fat, but it's nutritional value depends totally on how carefully you choose your pizza. Choose a thin crust, lesser cheese, chicken breast and plenty of vegetables to make it a healthy one.

Tomato sauce contains vitamins A & C, along with cancer-fighting chemical called lycopene and cheese contain calcium. Also, the toppings contain some fiber. 

You might be surprised to learn that a man was actually losing weight by eating pizza!

A study conducted in Harvard of more than 18,000 men showed that people who had an average of two drinks every day had a lower risk of heart attack than those who drink a lot but less often.

Also, according to researchers at the University of Buffalo, men have lower levels of abdominal fat than the ones who drink only once or twice in two weeks but consume more than four drinks each time.

Even if just grated on the top of a dish, cheese can contribute significantly to the amount of fat and calories in a food item.

But a few types of cheese like cheddar is high in zinc, vitamin B12 & A, calcium and folate.

It has been recommended that cheese should be included in the diet but in moderation.

Doused in vinegar and salt, rarely anyone would think it to be a nutritious meal.

But apart from that, a portion provides Vitamin C, B6 & B12, along with calcium, zinc iron, iodine and omega-3 fatty acid. Actually, if taken in moderation, fish and chips can be eaten as part of a healthy diet.

Being a tinned food, how come baked beans be of nutritional value? Same must be your opinion!

But actually, baked beans and other pulses are an important source of protein and fiber.

Baked beans are rich in potassium, iron and calcium. Rather a combination of baked beans and toast provides a good balance of amino acids.

So pals, you can now consume the 'not-so-unhealthy' food also with less tension.
