With the increasing population and pollution, the concerns for purified and fresh air have increased. Tons of industries releasing harmful gases and toxic chemicals are polluting the air and in turn causing the baleful effect to the environment and life of the organisms.
Hence, it is a high time to have a check on the slimming chances of purified air.
Focusing this, Dutch inventors have launched a purifying system with the intent to remove toxic substances from the atmosphere and to get fresh air.
Read for the full scoop.
They call it as world's first giant outside air vacuum cleaner, an air purifying system. And the launching event took place at the Offshore Energy trade fair in Amsterdam on Tuesday.
To filter out the air surrounding machine and eradicate toxic particles from the atmosphere.
The steel made industrial filter is 8 meters i.e. 26 feets in length and works like a vacuum cleaner. The system is basically placed on the top of buildings.
The well-designed system is considered to be able to suck in the air up to a 300-metre radius and from up to 7kms upwards.
The treating process can filter out 100% fine particles and 95% of ultra-fine ones according to the tests carried by Energy Research Centre of the Netherlands (ECN).
"A large column of air will pass through the filter and come out clear."
The emissions produced from burning wood and other fuels as well as industrial combustion pollute the air and have adverse effects on health.
The ultra-fine particles are released by the emissions from airplanes and vehicles and cause severe infections and damage to the nervous system including brain cells.
Apart from the patented vacuum cleaner and developing technology, we should do our part of the job by keeping the environment clean.
